Its a tough one with the merger, I can cope with the absolute rubbish on the field, we are used to that, but yesterday announcement means that my three are honestly on the line after 47 years of consecutive subscriptions.
I'll have to go from time to time, you simply can't stay away, particularly after a 57 year love affair but I may need to make a stand too, and make a statement that I don't want to be part of a merged Club and as I feel at present, if I am not to do that, believe me there will be a lot of convincing needed?
Or perhaps this time, if I'm honest, perhaps not, because call me old fashioned but after all the taunts and goading from Hudge and Co over the last few years, I find it absolutely impossible to understand why I am expected to keep coughing up the cash, suddenly forgive it all and get into bed with Rovers at every level but first team....for now! Its a completely unpalatable prospect for me at any level of MY club !

Most people agree from those who haven't been going long (are there many of these?) to the rest of us up the scale of service. I've changed my mind and will attend on Sunday (idiot) but I don't know why I changed my mind. Bizarre.

worse things have happened in the last few years than this merger.having to share a home ground with the most obnoxious sport on earth is one.no a teams is another.
