I was only following the game on Sporting Life websits , but thought you would have pulled something out of the bag late on.

And yet were being comprehensively dismantled by a poor Hull side after 20 mins tonight.

It's the manner of tonight's defeat for me above all else. There is no other word for it other than disgraceful. We had Thompson dropping a simple drop off ball. Yeaman getting stepped by a lumbering Arundel. Rankin and Sa chucking the ball on the floor. Houghton half arsedly lobbing a ball from acting half that was never catchable. And a lot of other things I've done my best to forget.

Hull fans simply don't deserve that high level of total crap.

Good post, no fans that pay money deserve to see professional sportsmen play like that, I can take getting beat it's part of the game but like you say it's the manner of the performance/defeat. It just stinks!

I said pre the leeds league game he should have rested key players and taken a defeat. Had he done that it's unlikely we'd have lost tonight

I watched it on sky, so what was your opinion ? I know sometimes things look different when you there, but tonight cant see what

fair enough, picture quality wasn't great, were we actually very unlucky? Were the FC fans at the end fulsome in their applause and commiserations?
