How many did you gift Wakey tonight?

IMO the short turnarounds against fully rested opponents made it a difficult task for Rovers last night and yourselves tonight. Even more so given the hot conditions.
To make matters worse Rovers found themselves up against the strongest Salford line up for months and you found yourselves up against a Wakefield team rejuvenated by Brian Smith and some new signings.
Hull started very strong tonight and looked several classes above Wakefield but after that Hull's intensity dropped off considerably and from then on Hull looked laboured.
I wouldn't be surprised if we both struggle again at the weekend. This idea of making teams play in the challenge cup a round early and reschedule a SL game midweek has to be looked at again.

The scheduling is crazy, but the crucial thing is Rovers still won! And we've known about this fixture issue for weeks.

I thought we were beyond awful after 20 minutes. The annoying part of the rescheduling is that there was a golden opportunity to reschedule when the Aussie teams were over.

But we're not one of the big boys so our concerns are not those of the RFL.
