Why on earth would I want to see a player injured? The point is this. McDermott chose to make immediate and highly inflammatory diagnostics after the match, citing a broken ankle. If it turns out, as indicated by journos, that this was overstated, that's prejudicing opinion on the incident itself, particularly as he claimed deliberate intent. Saying Sneyd deliberately broke an opponent's ankle is pretty serious if neither intent is proven not outcome is factually correct.
