No he did him for the twist. The highlights are on the Sky Sports website and it shows you Hicks binning him and signalling to him with his hands that it was a twist.

Some of the defending of Sneyd on here is laughable. People posting on here "imo it wasn't intentional " And doing their own video analysis and criticising McDermott for defending his own player when why wouldn't he and we'd expect Radford to do the same. Its like fans on here close ranks to defend the inexcusable just because he is a hull player and people dare to criticise the black and whites. The only person who will know if it's intentional or not is Sneyd himself. However what Sneyd will know is that sort of crocodile role on a person's joint or ankle will cause damage or pain and if the intention was just to slow the play down why not just lay there and hold on but to roll on the leg like that is excessive and uncalled for. I have had my leg broken in the tackle and my first reaction was to punch the player that did it because the pain was so excruciating. Not saying it's right but that was my response to the pain so McGuire even for the sh1 t he is, is in pain a natural reaction would to be lash out. Snyed had a bad afternoon yesterday and that was the cherry on top. Yes everyone's opinion is different but had that happened the other way around would be equally as vocal defending or making excuses for the offending player I think not. Would we be on here calling for his head most probably a la elima.

Some of the comment on here. No matter how much you play it down it won't change the truth
Nothing in it? Look closely. McGuire plants his other leg to get up and play the ball quickly. Sneyd does a hugely blatant roll and has possibly broken his ankle.
Actually at the time when I was quite a way from the incident and it did look as though McGuire had kicked out an Sneyd just for holding down. As an honest fan I said "McGuire could get a big game ban (3+) for that". Don't be scared of the truth, it won't change the minds of the disciplinary.

Hugely blatant roll
Give your head a bang?
Hope the disciplinary view it the same as the stamp on Talanoa last week at Catalan.
All the same arguments could be used against that in as much as only the player himself knows how much he meant it.
Don't recall many Hull fans posting about it and asking for his head.

Possible the worst stats this season from any player, been really disappointing the last few weeks.
Agree with that - seems to be permanently struggling for fitness during the game which would lead to those stats. Seems to only have an effective 10 mins in him.

We need to take all the emotion out of it. From a stationary position Sneyd roles. If he doesn't role McGuire doesn't get injured. Intent or not is irrelivent. Everone in the game including Sneyd know the potential out come of the motion, for whatever reason Sneyd chose to do it. At the point he causes injury he is guilty. Nice guy or thug he is guilty.

After watching the tackle over and over again I really dont think there is any intent from Snyed to do any harm to McGuire. If you slow the tackle right down Mcguire's foot stays in the same position throughout the tackle, if he was trying to break his anckle he would of twisted his foot round. However intent or not the resulting tackle has caused an injury (to what degree we don't yet know) and will result in a ban. How long that ban will be we will soon find out. Craig Murdoc tweeted after he watched it again that he thought that it was more clumsey than anything and maybe a one match ban with a EGP to save him, I just hope he's on the panel!!
