Nah. Clearly no similarities there whatsoever.
Has he been calling for Sneyd to be banned? I've not read or heard any quotes afterwards from him along those lines. Like I said his major gripe with the incident afterwards is that McGuire was sin binned also.
Do you honestly think he wouldn't have talked about it post match if we were playing Salford or Hudds next weekend instead?
Tbh he doesn't have to try and get Sneyd banned, I think it's pretty obvious he's going to miss some games even if McDermott doesn't say a word.

He was surprised that someone was sin binned for kicking another player in the head? How odd.

Almost certainly (I never put 100% certainty on anything to do with the RFL Disciplinary Panel). But not relevant to the point at hand.

When that someone was possibly having his other ankle broke at the time and kicking out in more an act of getting the guy off his injured foot rather than just randomly booting him for no reason, then yes. And not so much surprised, frustrated that common sense didn't prevail.

It's completely relevant. Trying to make out that McDermott has/will use the media to get Sneyd banned for this Friday when it's fairly obvious to everyone that Sneyd will be missing it anyway regardless of what is/isn't said in the media.

whether it's deliberate to injure or not, Sneyd has him by the ankle/lower leg and rolls over as DM is getting to his feet. That said it's not remotely like the one that that shathouse Elima did when he tried to rip Heremia's ankle off which was as deliberate as you'll get and was against the knee joint too (but still only got a 4 match ban) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P5JEQ9HJG34 I expect Sneyd to get 4 because there's no way he'll be found not guilty, not after the ref binned him specifically for twisting the leg
The Printer, sorry but this particular tackle despite it not being good was never a leg breaker, DM kicking out direct to a players head like that is reckless in itself, being wronged doesn't make it right to do another wrong especially with the boot.

Not saying it's right but then again have you ever had you ankle possibly broken by someone holding onto it? Could you honestly say your immediate reaction wouldn't be to kick out to get him off your foot?

Ref didn't bin him for twisting the leg, he binned him for holding on.
