That would be because I'm very angry and bitter about it. Not to mention vindictive.

My one caveat is Naughton or Lancaster being fit. If they are, then IMO we don't lose more than we gain by dropping Lineham.
Hold on to me baby, his bony hands will do you no harm It said in the cards, we lost our souls to the Nameless One

Didn't they both get announced during the off season that they were to leave?
Edit: forget that, just seen that Sneyd was announced on July 1st! I get what you mean, just feel that others should be given the chance to prove themselves, as I've expressed below

Luckily for Tom, Tony Smith is great at one on one high fiving training, so he should be able to break into the Warrington team.
Slapping on the back too. Something I look for in a player, top back slapping ability. Give em a really good hard slap.
On a serious note, if Lineham is playing poorly, Naughton will come in. There's no reason the club should drop him purely on the grounds of him leaving.
Haha, yer fair enough.
I just think that if we have someone waiting in the wings like Naughton that we'd be better building for the future and giving Naughton the chance to establish himself in the team for next year.

I haven't slagged anyone off?
If that scenario happened and I had an understudy who would be my replacement after I left, then I think its perfectly reasonable for that understudy to be given more responsibility (ie more game time) and if that meant I did less (ie 'got dropped'), then so be it. The company will still be there after I leave and I'd expect them to plan for life after myself, no matter how hard I worked.

You said "His contract clearly meant knack all to him, so why should we?"
So that's not slagging him off then or criticising him?
Then you went onto say that highfiving and backslapping is the measure of how committed a player is and that Lineham should be ousted from the 13 on that basis, YOUR WORDS "High fiving, slapping people on the back, seemingly loves playing rugby for hull. If that means Lineham makes way then so be it"
I gave a scenario so that you could place yourself in those shoes and how it would feel people getting on at you for leaving your workplace to go elsewhere. Given your very words, your opinion of TL for leaving isn't a positive one is it?

If his contract meant anything to him he would have seen out the 2 and a half years he had left. I don't see stating that as slagging him off, just making a point of view.
With reference to the high fives etc, if you'd taken the time to quote the full text, as opposed to the bits that you have taken out of context, I actually said that "He (Naughton) has the attitude similar to Rankin that riles the opposition." And then went on to discuss the kind of niggly actions which I enjoy seeing in a player as it shows their desire to get under the skin of the opposition to enable them to get the upper hand and hopefully get a win. I merely pointed out that I think Naughton should be playing week in week out (injury permitting) because he has shown plenty of passion and desire to win games for this club in the relatively short space of time he's been here. I also said if that means Lineham makes way, then so be it.
And I responded to your scenario and argued the point that life doesn't revolve around me. People can have their opinions, I for one hope that Tom does find the success he craves (if that's what he's going for),he has given me some fantastic memories, but he's made his decision. Do you not agree that we should be able to focus on building for the future?
