FWIW I think we need naughton playing. He has the attitude similar to Rankin that riles the opposition. High fiving, slapping people on the back, seemingly loves playing rugby for hull. If that means Lineham makes way then so be it.
Do you mean like Sneyd and Westerman who left to join us while still contracted to their club. Its not as though he's just disappeared without seeing the season out.

Yeh you're right. One thing that Lineham doesn't have in his locker is decent high-fiving skills.
Luckily for Tom, Tony Smith is great at one on one high fiving training, so he should be able to break into the Warrington team.
Slapping on the back too. Something I look for in a player, top back slapping ability. Give em a really good hard slap.
On a serious note, if Lineham is playing poorly, Naughton will come in. There's no reason the club should drop him purely on the grounds of him leaving.

So if you left your workplace to go somewhere else, maybe for family reasons, maybe to earn more money, to become more successful/progress your career say, and your boss and work colleagues ostracised you and told you you were a krunt for leaving, starting slagging you off despite being a good honest worker and working out your notice how would you feel...just sayin'?

Whilst a player is still contracted to us, we should treat them fairly and play our best available team. If his form drops off, Naughton's in.
Normally I'd agree. And in fact I've argued this very point just about every time a player has left. But let's look at this case in detail...
Here's a guy who we gave his first big opportunity in RL. We showed faith in him by offering him a long contract while he was still very young and learning his craft. We stuck by him through dips in form and several serious injuries. He's been lauded by the fans and by the club.
And he can't even be ar$sed to see out his contract.
Sod him.
Hold on to me baby, his bony hands will do you no harm It said in the cards, we lost our souls to the Nameless One

Comes across a bit bitter that Kosh.
I'm seeing it more that if were a better side with Lineham in it, we should play him. We should play our best available side IMO.

Does anyone really blame lineham for going to a club where he's likely to appear in finals and is probably earning more cash? Blame the people responsible for 30 years of mediocrity at Hull, not a player wanting to better himself

If we've really suffered 30 years of mediocrity supporting Hull FC then we might as well all give up.
Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?
