All most of us have wanted is to feel confident that the team we pay to watch are putting the effort in and being entertaining. For me, the mrs and kids to go watch FC its £100+ and quite frankly the rugby has been dire for years with repeated false dawns and abject performances but whilst and im not rich and can easily find better and more enjoyable things to blow £100 on. That said ive got renewed optimism to the point that i plan on attending the Cas/Wakey home games so call me fickle, i dont care

Yeah well seen as attendances are fudged to include people who arnt there and the tickets the smc buy id say around five thousand lost in five years so about a third of fans

If true he wants to leave - and I have no reason to believe otherwise, recent interviews notwithstanding - then my opinion of him is frankly unfit for family consumption. I have zero sympathy for players who quit on us while contracted unless there are exceptional circumstances. If either Lancaster or Naughton are fit I'd drop him and let him spend the rest of the season at Donny.
Yes, I am a vindictive old b'stard.
Well blinking said. It hink first post ive agreed with you.

And ALL of those are people who are disgruntled with the club, like you? Think you'll find there's been a decline at every club in those years. In Hull there's also the Hull City factor, people would rather watch premier league football than Hull or Rovers. Those that are turning their backs (less than a thousand for me) will be the first in line for CC final tickets or GF tickets. Fickle.

Lower crowds Imo is down to the excruciatingly boring rugby served up over the last couple of seasons. Exciting players attract crowds - we have 2 - Lineham, & Shaul who if the rumours have any substance is also on his way out. A couple of years ago our backline was Shaul (McDonnel) Lineham, Crooks, Yeaman, Briscoe Young/ promising , all with their best years in front of them (OK one obvious exception) If Shaul goes we've lost the lot, except Yeaman. - Progress?????

Leigh and Fev are not even in SL and Catalan saw a 500 drop in average attendance from 2013 to last season.
frepneyboy wrote:Rovers Udders and a few others have been very stagnant over the last vew years.
Rovers averaged over 8,500 in 2009 compared to just over 7,800 last year. Hudds I'll give you, they've always been shiite though.

You want to say sub 9k because we massage attendance figures now, but don't want to do that from 5 years ago when we averaged 14k+? Of course we've had a massive reduction, but it's simply not only down to disgruntled fans as was stated.

Catalan dropped 500. nothing compared to us.
I'd still say we are the biggest fallers other than Bratfut
