The club is having to cut costs because it is a business and there must be some correlation between income and expenditure.
If some supporters/customers are turning their back on the club/business its because they are unhappy with the standard of the product or service. The way to win them back is to improve that service, not just to appeal to their loyalty.
I'm not expecting the club to operate at the same financial level on reduced income, but I think its wrong to blame the supporters for the reduced income without looking at why some are staying away.
You run the risk of speaking common sense on here these days of invoking the wrath of those who have appointed themselves as "keepers of the Faithful" . Nothing like the cuddle crew of old and with less brains
Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth. Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself.;

I have stated next season I will be going back to games I choose to go, when you remember the club left me not able to go in the switch to Fridays. I am simply returning and with different priorities developing within my family things have to change end off.
I have never stated selling Lineham is bad either, its good business when a club comes in and offers money ............
now get a life

Do not start blaming those who do no longer come to FC, those who are in charge are still to blame for what has gone before and what is to come. He was SOLD to Wire and he may have company in the taxi over to Cheshire, the club can put on what ever spin it likes.
Enjoy your time with your family.

Funny how good players never seem to want to leave Wigan,Saints,Leeds etc.Are we just a feeder club now,soon as we bring a player through he is sold to the highest bidder.Thought our owner said this was going to stop.The worrying thing is who is going next,lots of rumours doing the rounds about other players on the move,how can you believe them when they deny it.Just the sort of thing you don't need to sell passes,what a shot in the foot by our ambitious club.

What can the club do if a player wants to leave? Keep a player who doesn't put his all in then, make him sit in the stands and waste a large chunk on the salary cap.
Wigan has lost a lot of there best players recently to the NRL and Union.

Top quality wingers are game changers and we cant just keep disgarding them because we think we might have the next big thing. Naughtons using us a stepping stone back to the NRL (ala Rankin) so theres no longevity in that and Lancaster still has a lot to prove And what is £125k - not a bloody lot really for a 22 year old at the top of the scoring charts and ex dream team player
Hot news!! Seb sucked in by someone telling a porkie!!
