Not sure I'd agree with that - I think McShane's passing from dh and decision making is better, Houghton being a better defender and runner, & both have a fairly decent kicking game. I think they'd compliment each other quite well.

I wouldn't be disappointed if we did go into 2016 with him & Cunningham though.

Don't know but I'd be tempted to rest Ellis this week and bring Thompson in if fit.

This game is too important to rest Ellis, If we are too rest him for any game it should be Leeds away.

Don't disagree it's important but you could see him wincing a bit at points yesterday, still wearing the rib padding and short turnaround - if Thompson's fit might be an opportunity to rest him.
