Spot on, in those situations a winger needs to trust in his centre. I was always taught when on the wing to keep on the outside of my opposite winger, no matter how big the gap became, and only move inside of it's clear the centre has been beaten. Although it's almost natural to move towards the ball and help in the tackle.
It's probably Linehams main weakness. I'd imagine playing with a number of different centre partners this season is more of a factor than a potential move away.

He's been the same since we signed him, constantly gets dragged inside. Got barely any ball today as we went to dixon's wing all game. I don;t believe for a second he;s not interested even if he is leaving

Got caught out for the 1st try as why did he come in as Sa had Welham lined up big style and I thought he was at fault for Our 1st attack as Rankin put out a lovely pass and he was nowhere to be seen.

Well as the usual scapegoats Houghton and Yeaman did OK so there has to be someone for our resident whingers to trash. There were a couple of bad reads in defence due to lack of communication and confidence but its Lineham's first game back from injury and Sa's first at centre for a while. I'd be more worried if they didn't address this in training this week and were repeating these errors next game.

After the try was scored Pryce has a right go at him in the background but as for the opportunity we created the pass from Rankin was awful he did it again a few minutes later on the other wing we created an overlap and Rankin's pass went a mile forward to Talanoa

He didn't have a great game but not sure it was bad enough to warrant it's own thread. He does have a tendency to jam in towards his centre which needs work - he's only about a foot too far in for both tries but it's enough to create the scoring opportunity. Put plenty of effort in to try and stop Sio so not sure there's any evidence of his heart not being in it or his head being elsewhere.
Fairly sure that if there weren't the Wire rumours surrounding him nobody would have bothered to create a thread about his performance.

Bit unfair this thread, I don't there is ever a doubt he puts anything but 100% into his game, got caught out for the first try and didn't really get the ball at all and Hull targeted their left which worked a treat.
If Warrington offer money for him over 6 figures I would sell him, I don't any winger in SL is worth that amount and he could be replaced without too much fuss.
