Now that we have most of the first team squad available I don't understand the thinking behind Radfords selections. As Ellis is back surely its better to play him in his second row position and move Sa back to centre which is his best position and where he is most effective. The 13 position could have been taken by Abdull,Thompson or Whiting leaving a place on the bench for Feka. Moving Sa back to centre would have allowed Talanoa to replace Yeaman who is at the moment a liability in the team whether its his massive 2 metre scoots, inability or reluctance to jump for a high kick or defensive lapses we have seen over the last weeks he needs to go. Even when Naughton was injured he chose to put Whiting to centre instead of moving Sa to centre and bringing Whiting in to the second row where in my opinion he is much more effective. Interesting to see after all the handling errors who is on the naughty step for the weekend. No doubt Lineham and possibly Westerman will be back but Lets get Sa back in the centre with Talanoa. We might start to see what Michaels can do with a decent centre with him. No coincidence that the winger outside of Yeaman always gets flack a la Briscoe.

Other tahn handling errors I can't think of one area yeaman outplayed talanoa last night. His only redeeming thing in the last 3 years has been his defence and now that's gone too. Can't jump, can't pass, can't make a break and now he can't defend very well. He will no doubt get another year which will be a farce. No way is he the required standard any more
