Nobody complained that we were winning! They complained at the manner in which we did so. Are you suggesting that nobody complained at the standard/style of rugby after the saints, widnes & salford games?
Now, those same moaners after last night are now saying "only the two points matter", not you by the way, although you seem to have taken exception
I haven't taken exception, merely adding some balance. Go on any forum after any game and there will be fans who are happy and others who are not. Accepting a win as being the ultimate result achievable is to fail to strive to improve. Perhaps you live your life in mere contentment but not everyone does. Do you think the club don't assess every performance and look for improvements?
The use of the word "maybe" was paraphrasing you. My favourite word is cackamallababbashit but it didn't seem appropriate to use it
Came out of the KC with some optimism last night. If we can cut out the daft mistakes I think we could be turning the corner. No one can argue with the effort from the lads, Gareth Ellis was fantastic. I bet he aches a tad this morning! Oh and the ref was rubbish, he made things harder for us but we lost the game on our own, Saints where there for the taking. (Their 1st try was vintage Saints though and a treat to watch)

Ellis was huge again. After the disallowed try he made four tackles in a row, leading by example and trying to keep our heads in it. He did look battered when he went off at the end though. I assume he spends hours after a game packed in ice, Sean Ryan style.
Glad I went last night. Two months ago we never looked like scoring and it was crushing our souls. Against Saints we never looked out of it and the crowd were back behind the team. I think we've turned a corner. We're still lost but we seem to be headed the right way.
Have to say I left the KC last night feeling a lot more positive than I did against salford. Don't think we'll make the 8 but don't think we're in danger of relegation of we don;t based on our improved performances of late. The middle 8's will be pretty exciting anyway

Wouldn't quite write off top 8 just yet. 2 games against Wakefield, and quite possible Leeds will sack off the game before the cup tie. We're in good shape injurywise at the moment. Let's see what goes on after the Tragic weekend.

I'm not counting it out but I think we need to beat wakey twice and find another 3, possibly 4 wins which could be home against cas and wigan (not an easy task given our recent home record against them) and possibly 2 wins from our other remaining away fixtures.
