"Dead hip" according to Radford. Makes him sound like a 1960s pop star.
Plenty of effort tonight and we looked dangerous at times but too many errors. Disappointing not to get anything out of the game against an average St Helens team. I thought we were going to nick a draw at the end.

Errr no it wasn't,game in the balance until last minute and with 15 mins left looked only 1 winner and it was us...sts kicked on the last tackle as containing kicks but we split them open and with more luck would have won and if we had played the ref better,he was so far out of his depth it was unreal.

Thats why you got the Bullet Agar...Adam Pearson wants winners...not useless gits like you.

All in all not to unhappy tonight. Great effort and I thought they defended well for the most part. Some poir defence from kicks but with short wingers its always a risk I suppose. We've asked for more enterprising play and we got it imo, just the execution was a bit off. I lost count of how many time Talanoa almost got through. As a result we were under the kosh a lot. I was surprised at Saints tbh, I've never associated them with being a niggly, spoiling team but they were allowed to get away with it. Just one of those nights where we couldn't catch a break. I agree about centres too. If says something when Whiting, who isn't really a centre, is one of the best centres at the club.
Talanoa dropping balls is starting to be a bit of a common occurrance ...
Sounded like far too many unforced errors tonight. Shame Nogger went off , and I hope he is ok for next week.. but at least Whiting showed what a versatile player his still is by filling in.
Quite disappointed really - that was a game that we should have won.

Coulda, shouda, woulda.
Could say the same for Sts but they didn't split us as much as what we did...scored off 2 kicks which is our Achilles but don't let that stop your view from your armchair and radio.Yes we made errors but what team doesn't,Sts did as well but nobody mentioning that are they.

Agree with this. Encouraging signs and we finished stronger IMO. Deserved a point against the champions and 2nd placed team. Surely that's some progress from 6 weeks ago?

We've been asking for more expansive play and now we have it. I think as fans that if we want that sort of play we have accept we'll have nights where it doesn't come off. On another night those passes and catches would have stuck and we'd be singing their praises. I agree that some work needs to be done on skills as those should stick the majority of the time. However I came away from that game more heartened than any of the drab wins I've watched. There was passion and atmosphere back at the KC.
Ref was dire but we cant ignore that yet again there were many basic errors, we must have the worst passing ability in the league! Saints still had a few players missing and just seemed to go through the motions and waste time, yet we still cam away with zero points.
Yet again our best players were our 'old timers' Minichello and Pryce who continue to perform well but are hardly long term options. Ellis hobbled off yet again, the decision to extend his deal for another year is starting to look like poor business.
Sadly I didn't see much tonight to change my opinion that we'll be bottom 4
