Obviously disappointing to hear Paea is leaving as he has been one of our best players. Understandable that he wants to try his hand in the NRL and I join everyone else in wishing him and his family well.

Thompson is never a prop in a month of Sunday's, nor should we attempt to 'convert' him into one, Ellis I'm not so sure that we would get the best out of him at prop anyway and in any case we need to consider replacing him come 2017 anyway.
Green needs to improve his consistency but isn't so bad considering his age, Bowden is ideal as a squad prop and I think his lack of game time shows, BTW also desperately needs game time so he can show us what he's got.

All well and good talking about signing another prop but if we aren't even giving our home grown young props game time to get them into the fold then we will always struggle to have enough cap space to have a quality balanced side.
