What i will say in defence of the Radford out camp. We arent doing anything earth shattering, We are simply playing at the level you would expect us to. It shouldnt take half a season to start playing at an acceptable standard.
That said, there are some good signs, and regardless of opposition or circumstances you would have never dreamed that we would win 6/7 after that Easter debacle.

Agree with the Peter Sharp sentiments. I was frustrated to see him go. Horrendous injury toll in following the 2006 season triumph, and bloodied a loys of "babies" as he put it. Cooke leaving took the heart out of the team, too - had to start rebuilding the playing structure and pivots from scratch, so important was Cooke tothe way we played.
Only issue I had with Sharp was his insistance on trying to make players into "utility players" in key positions. The prime example was forcing Motu into the fullback position over the specialist Briscoe - never ever got that one.

No single individual. More of a feeling I got when catching up with this thread. Obviously I've misread it and am clearly in a minority of one in thinking that way.

Let me put this differently.
The game against Hull KR was possibly the most abject performance of Radfords reign. The fact it was against them is neither here nor there, buy the fact it was on tv in front of 20k+ certainly added to it. After that game 6 wins out of 7 seemed almost impossible. Winning at Saints was the start of the turnaround
I've been on holiday, and it seems they've played better while I've been absent! Good to see our form turn round, and us score a high number of tries yesterday. Not getting carried away yet though however we've had too many false dawns before, and our next two games are the Champions and that lot from over the River. If we finish in the 8 and put in a good show in the Super8's I'll admit I was harsh on Radford and get ready for 2016 with optimism...but there is still a long way to go.
