Good display and nice to see us do something different on 6th tackle, I thought we had previously banned the grubber kick. Any news on injuries ? Sa looked bad but then was sat on the bench, is Ellis injured or just rested and any update on Thompson ?

Thompson did look bad, Ellis has a dead leg and Sa a "stinger" which should be ok. Makes the last 20 minutes the more impressive when you consider these 3 interchanges were lost. For anyone who missed the game, Thompson managed to do a backward roll which appeared to do his neck no good at all. Good to hear he's ok.
Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?

Very impressed with performances today, a good game of rugby to watch and I hope we can keep this up, 6 out of 7 now!

Is he going to use Whiting at 13 then or just go with the heavy brigade approach to counter their forwards? I'd rather outplay them & make their forwards do a lot of chasing/turning around from good play, that to me means using Abdul from the off & bring on Cunningham for a good 15 minute spell each half not just the last 5 minutes or so which is a complete waste.
You are always right, wish you was in charge.

Having said that, Abdull hardly seems to be the player he was last season.

He won't hit his peak for a few seasons yet, he needs to sort then maintain his fitness if he does this he will be as good as Westy. He's very young still.

I won't embarrass the poster who said this preseason by naming him. Maybe he should have started a petition
