Despite being pretty poor we have only been battered by Leeds (2nd half) and have played Wigan, Saints, Warrington and Hudds, who will all be in the play offs and we beat 3 of them and should have drawn the other.
The bulk of our remaining games are away from the KC and 2 of the 4 left at home are wigan and saints so will be tough. If we scrape into the 8 that's all it will be. Don't see us being anywhere near the top 4.

Safety and the guarantee of SL next year....fantastic, but the remainder of this season I fear will see us getting battered from one of the park to another. The Warrington result was fantastic, but in general this year has shown that as a club were simply out of our depth and hanging on due the lack of understanding of what is needed to succeed. Then groundhog day will begin again in 2016.
There is a positive to finishing outside of the 8, in I feel it would provide a greater chance of change for the club. Sometimes you have to go backwards before moving forwards.
I'll go and hide now before the abuse starts.
Depends on your definition of battered. As mediocre as we have been under Radford the only heavy defeats (lets say by 18+ points) have been Wigan home and away last season and Leeds at home this season.
There is no positive in finishing outside the top eight. Wanting the club to fail in the expectation that it will mean Radford leaves is ridiculous.

Four at home, five away and one neutral. Not overwhelmingly against us, besides which our away record is better this year so far than our home record.

So 60% away from the KC and 50% of our home games we'll start as underdogs in. We've won 6 games, 3 away and 3 at home. Admittedly we've lost a smaller % of away games
If we have ambitions of doing more than just scraping into the 8 and making up the numbers then we have to target the next three, and they are all winnable.
Saints at home, they have been hit and miss this year, Walsh is out, and our place has been a bogey ground for them. Rovers at Newcastle is anyone's game. Widnes on the plastic is tough but we stuck 50 on them last year and so should be confident.
We have to win at least two of them imo because we then travel to France and Leeds and I can't see anything at all from those. If we go on a run of 1 win (or worse) in 5 then we are right back in bother again.
