If he was dropped for Salford the club should have said he was dropped. No-one has a god given right to be picked and if Radford preferred Rankin for that fixture then fair enough.

If he was injured the club should have said he was injured.

What's wrong witrh being transparent and honest?

First there was wisdom
Then there was knowledge
Now there is only information

How can the story be over a week late?

If it was "last week's story" it must've been written on Saturday or Sunday because it refers to "Friday night's victory over Salford".

I'm afraid I don't believe it for a second and believe James Smailes when he states he was only reporting what Radford told him. Here's what he said on Twitter:

https://twitter.com/James_Smailes/statu ... 8722268161

Here's the story. Reads to me like this week's news, not last week's:

Hull FC will take a cautious approach with full-back Jamie Shaul in order to address a concerning injury problem.

Shaul missed Friday night's victory over Salford Red Devils having seen his training limited once again due a series of niggling injuries and he looks set to stay on the sidelines for now.

Having struggled with a persistent ankle problem which has limited his training time this year, Radford says Hull need to get their young star physically right before reintroducing the 22-year-old back into the side.

"For a kid of Jamie's age, the amount of training sessions he is missing is a bit of a concern," said Radford.

Shaul has missed five games this season through injury, with an ankle problem causing his longest lay-off.

Despite playing the past five games before his Salford omission, Shaul was not 100 per cent fit.

With Jordan Rankin's presence needed in the halves due to an injury to Marc Sneyd, Shaul played despite having his training during the week limited, and will now take his time to correct any problems.

At 6pm tonight on RH.. there is an interview with Shaul & Radford..

From a snippett of the interview, I thought I heard Shaul say, he was 'fit' last week, but dropped against Salford.

Personally i think there is more to this and it shows a lack of respect between coach and players.

Josh Bowden asked Shaul on twitter "are you injured?" to which he replied "no!".

Why they need to hold such conversations on twitter is beyond me!

Absolutely right. There's no need for private matters to go public. We shouldn't even know about this.

Shaul claims hes fit - the club says hes unfit and now Radio Humberside are claiming that Radford and Shaul are having clear the air talks. Just what is the club playing at the moment as im baffled as to what the hell is going on with it?

So you are automatically blaming the club without hearing any of the facts?
