What about 1999, when we finished 13th and would have gone out of business but for a RL fudge with Gateshead and a cheque for £1.25m? You are saying this is worse? OK...

They really were desperate times, todays mess is nothing in comparison but it dont make you feel any better, who was it said "there is a cancer at the club" whatever it is there is something radically wrong, and most clubs fans would have thrown the towel in by now.COYH.

The potential is there for us to go out of business if we get relegated and there won't be another fat cheque from the RFL this time

We have seen darker days than these , but at the moment everything about the Club is negative. We are poor on the pitch . The perception of the Club off the pitch is also poor . As a Club and it's supporters, we seem miles apart . Every Black and White I speak to is disallusioned at the moment. There needs to be some changes to bring the two together. This thread talks of "bad apples "within the squad. I was told a certain two who have been mentioned had altercations with fans after the Cas game . Their attitude was that they didn't care , and would get contracts at other " better " clubs . It took for other squad members to step in and apologise. There seems to be no togetherness at the this present time . Disallusioned players , and Supporters is not a good mix !

Are we really surprised that our great Club is shrouded in gloom? If all you hear is negativity then its its inevitable its going to have a impact on everyone from the top to the bottom.Every sportsman/woman and even in life, lack of confidence is killer and when your being told how poor you are even when its not warranted then the pressure increases and it becomes harder. We all know that at the moment we have seen some poor performances and without doubt we should be better but some comments posted on here are not helping and when comments like this are posted" Radford is an idiot, but Shaul and Lineham have ego problems. Westy and Watts are the other bad eggs." do you really think that helps. if you think that players ect dont read these these sites then your kidding yourself. When players families including children are getting flack in the street then you have to wonder is it worth it?.The Clubs destiny is still in our hands we are still in with a very good chance of getting and staying in the eight and to read comments stating its the worst time ever for the Club its show how OTT some fans are.

Has anyone else heard this? IKt seems unlikely to me that 2 players had altercations with fans weeks ago and it wasn't all over social media at the time

But if i feel the club is being poorly run then im not gonna bury my head in the sand and pretend it itsnt. Also if a player is saying that he isnt injured but the club are it says one is lieing - its my choice in who i believe. Now weve got stories that four of our best players are bad eggs and are being driven out - yeah great unity going on here sounds like the clubs a total mess to me. Add in the fact that we are gash on the pitch, weve all been fleeced for years with false promises a plenty and you can see why i and many others think the clubs a massive joke and embarassment
