To be honest, Ive never liked just scraping into the play-off places, id rather not bother, if I was going to spend my cash think id prefer watching more competitive games in the bottom 8s, even as bad as we are dont think we'd be any where near finishing 4 or 5 out the 8, think it will be leigh vs wakefield in the promtion match

I would rather make the top 8 & not do anything then run the risk, it could be very costly, IMHO

Absolutely finish in the 8

Certainly finish the top 8, play the better teams, means you are safe from relegation and you can plan for the next season with recruitment etc.

As it stands if we win our game in hand we would be 2 points off 4th, so if we can stay within touching distance of the 4, then it would be all to play for, if not then use the games to blood some young kids in preparation for the next season.

I'd rather be on the top 8 because it would mean we are getting better. If we are to ever get back to challenging the top teams then we need to be playing them.

I'm not saying Radford is instructing the players not to do anything far from it. However the lack of any sign of it and any improvement is down to the Coaching staff and being able to instill this into the players and if they can not then to do something about it.

For me this is something Radford is clearly not able to do and in all fairness he has had enough time to have been able to shown signs of he is capable of improvement within the performances.

The only thing he has stuck to is when he said he would stop the massive swing from good performances and poor performances which I agree he has the only down side is we are now just getting poor (average at the very best) under in leadership.

You admit we lack the things I have said but who is ultimately responsible for getting the team to play??? The Coach!!!! and quite frankly he simply isn't and there are no excuses, infact we are worse than we were before and he has changed more than enough players to have made a difference.

Well I hope we do make the eight. The idea that we would rather finish 9th and be involved in some tighter games just further shows how far we have fallen when you consider the likely opposition. Even if we finish 8th and have no prospect of going any further, it gives us an opportunity to try things out for next year and plan ahead with no pressure on us.

As for will we make it? We're in the mix. Wakefield are miles behind, and I'm confident that we will finish ahead of Widnes too, although they shouldn't be taken lightly. I don't see Salford picking up anything before Chase comes back, and even with him they are an average team. Despite the horrific Derby performance I think us and Rovers are pretty well matched. Catalans should finish above us but away from home they are dreadful, and our game in hand would put us above them.

I think it's a flip of a coin whether we make it or not. We are all in agreement that we have been rubbish, but was it not for the new cup format we would be 8th (maybe even 7th) and we are past the halfway point now. We really need our attack to click, and if we improve by just 10% in this area then we should be ok, but I don't honestly have much faith in this happening.

If we get an unexpected win at Warrington we go favourites imo.
