Are you puzzled by some of his team selections, use of interchanges or tactics, or do you think he's getting most things right? If you think he's getting most things right is it the players who are letting him down? If it's not the players letting him down what do you think is the reason for the current level of performance by the first team?
Of course I do, I'm a season pass paying supporter who wants to see us play to our strengths, we have played terrible in execution but I'm pleased with our defence 90% of the time, I would have played Abdul In Westys absence, as for yeamo he gets the defensive part right 9/10 times, his attacking flair is very poor at times but we don't have an attacking centre who reads opposition attack like him so I see why he plays him in a fashion, if you look at sariginson for Wigan he gets it wrong a very lot in defence but gets the attack right & has pace outside of him, I think we carry more pivots on the bench because of our poor attacking style for more available options, our current performances are poor for several reasons, I see Houghton as a pit pony but lacks the smartness to spot/create we have an old head in Pryce who can get us where we want on the field but Sneyd needs to execute better with his kicks, Westy is the link to the fringes & when this happens with our first choice back rowers on we can do damage, when you get in the oppositions 20, the best 3 options are =1 score a try, 2 a back to back set, 3 turn it over in the 10 & be disciplined & defend for your life, try & force errors/ make them kick under pressure within their 30/40 , for some reason we haven't been doing this but if you watch them train you will see they work non stop on this, but for some reason they're not taking it into a game. But like I say when they do play with the strongest 17 we will click, we are winging some games with some squad players in, but the performances are scrappy, but me for one will take any 2 points we can take no matter how we play, no one remembers the decent performances like at home to wire, they just remember the 2points lost, & in a season with P & R with other decent teams after the same thing we need all we can get, so rather then bitch on here about any of our staff not just LR which changes nothing on the pitch, I turn up & support the cause I have since I was 13.
I have been to every game this season including friendlies and without doubt every away game has been a more enjoyable experience win or lose. Everyone has their opinion why we are not firing in offence ranging from the coach to players. Lets be honest not many of our players have been stand out every game ,Minichello has been the only player who has been there or there about every game and there lies the problem for me.As much as i think Pryce has been ok he clearly has not gelled with Sneyd ,up to Sneyd getting injured at Cas it was getting better but for me the last two games they have mis fired. I am not saying they are bad players I just think the way things have gone its heaped more pressure and at time over do things. Westerman for me is a big loss and thats why Radford should stick with Abdull till he is back. I thought Howarth apart from some really good hits in defence looked lost and without doubt Abdull got us going.

Agree with Abdul, we also have to remember its a job to them, & we all 1day or another have been told we are milking it & not putting in enough effort, I know this gets peoples backs up because they say they are paying to see this, but ask an employer to pay employees on the amount of effort they've done that week, would we take home what we do?? Lol

Rubbish. - Pearson had the youth system put in place as a priority as soon as he took over. Radford should be reaping the benefits.

So name the players that have come through then? & last season they employed more staff to the youth.

I do remember the defeat against Wire and in a post yesterday or Friday I said what a good performance it was. In fact I think it was better than the wins over Catalans, Widnes and Salford. It was certainly a lot more enjoyable than Friday's match. If we played like that every week and lost I would probably be happier than I am now. The league is so close this year that we are in touching distance of 5th place at the moment but frankly the standard of rugby we are being served up is dire. I have been supporting the team for 30 years but at the moment it brings me no joy, I attend more out of a sense of duty or obligation rather than expecting any enjoyment or pleasure. I don't blame everything at the door of the coach and don't pretend to know what the answer is but I can certainly see that we have problems. On paper we have a better squad than last year but haven't progressed at all and the coach seems to be repeating the same mistakes. Yes the future is bright with youth coming through but will be able to hang on to these lads much less attract other players if the first team is always languishing in the bottom half of the table?

Good post...
Totally agree with your opinion on Danny Houghton.....
I exchanged messages with Bobbie Goulding, he's watched our attack, and say our catch & pass needs to massively improve.
He added we need to do more repetition in training in this area, under duress.- only then, will our speed will improve with ball in hand.

Fair summary.
