That 19 just sums up Radford inability to put out a TEAM instead of a bunch of players.
Abdul should be in the 17 to replace Westerman and why he still seems to think putting 3 Hookers in the 19 is a master stroke I'll never know.
Naughton has shown pace and bags of enthusiasm when he's taken the field which is more than can be said of certain players who seem untouchable.
Gentle was given the boot and had us playing argueably better rugby and at least didnt fill the 19 with players for the sake of it he actually brought in the younger players that play the positions we were light in.
Anything other than a comprehensive win is not good enough and in all honesty I can can see us just sneaking a win and only just.
I think alot of blame has been laid at Gentles door over not giving youth a chance when in fact it can be argued he put many of the young fringe players in the 17 when we had injuries & suspensions and the club have seen the benefit of this with Lineham, Shaul and Crookes before the club seemingly binned him off.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

I recall a certain Ben Crooks playing 80 minutes for the U19's against Bradford a few years ago and then lining up for the senior squad straight afterwards so I'm sure it's possible they could be called on to play on a Friday night and again on the Saturday if necessary. And the U19 player that has been selected has been selected to replace an injured player, not a dropped player. Which is what has caused concern. Nobody criticised last week by Radders has been dropped. The only player dropped from the squad wasn't even involved in last week's performance.
As Carl Spacker said, our selections don't seem to be based on performance but more on who is considered to be an established player. So it seems that regardless of how certain players perform each week they'll be straight back in the team the following week.

I think gentle played miles better rugby. had some enjoyable nights watching fc under gentle. 2 6th finishes a cup final and we were heading in the right direction under him...if its true he had players on big contracts, what does that matter?! if we were playing well getting better etc

Radford only mentioned Sneyd and Price by name, so you would have dropped them?
Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?

I would drop any of the six or seven players regardless of whether he named names or not. If they don't put in the performance he expects of them as coach then they shouldn't play.
