According to pearson

Some worrying things in there - financial implications from being in the "middle tier" crowd wise?

Working hard as a coach seems to be enough despite you being completely incompetent.

Doubt I'll be renewing my pass next year even if we do manage to stay up

It's official - he's completely lost the plot.

Worrying times.

Hold on to me baby, his bony hands will do you no harm
It said in the cards, we lost our souls to the Nameless One

The article has actually confirmed my worst fears that Pearson is not going to change a thing and we are in for more misery. He just doesn't have a clue.

Mr Paerson WHY should we make a noise and spend our hard earned money ?????
Your players and coach give us nothing to get excited about, its there job to entertain and WIN games or at least compete.
I do not post on here much but this situation is just taking the urine now.

hmmm, no more excuses, having westerman and ellis out, and constantly changing the spine of the team hasn't helped! Make your mind up Adam

Shocking piece really.
Blame the players, excuses over injuries like no other team has them and to have a go about the stadium being a factor, somebody better tell Wigan they're not supposed to play well at home due to the size of the ground.
After all this and the continued stubborn backing of our inept coach despite realising performances have not been good enough he has the cheek to call on the fans.
Pearson also says there's nothing he can do to change what's happened but he can clearly effect what does happen from here on in if only he hadn't backed himself into a corner.
As long as Radford works hard but yet we remain sh1 t well that acceptable then. Complete joke.
It's obvious the fall in attendance and maybe even the e mails he has received may have prompted this outburst in the press but even now he must realise this rallying cry is pointless. People aren't going to return just because he's asked us in the hull daily mail.
He knows what he needs to do to improve performances and win fans back but has flat refused to do it.
Nice try Mr.Pearson but no thank you I'll be staying at home come Friday.
A win over a ravaged Salford side will do nothing to convince me.

Not sure what's controversial here.

Acknowledging performance concerns whilst asking fans to support the club.

Citing the upcoming game as important. Well we could reach the giddy heights of 9th depending on other results so yeah, it's important

Saying everyone including him need to have a word with themselves. Indeed.

Backing Radford. Not really advisable to publicly start pulling the rug from under him this week, is it?

I'm glad there's been an open recognition of the state we're in and am not party to what's been said internally obviously, but can't see what's inflammatory in what he's said. Were people expecting him to single out Radford as the only underperformer and say he's got one game to save his job? Or that stayaways have no financial impact on the club? Hmm..

I have never wanted Radford as Captain, or head coach. I want him gone.
Yet - when Pearson blames the players I am sort of inclined to agree slightly, unless you believe that Radford is deliberately saying to players to not score tries. Surely some of the responsibility lies with them, after all, we get up the pitch seemingly with no drama at all!

Utterly speechless .. regarding AP's statement to the HDM.

"The coach is working as hard as he can & I am firmly behind him"

What if his training methods are wrong??, judging by the performances on the field, it looks as if the training methods are wrong.

Pearson is clueless.... we are nose-diving to oblivion.

What did you expect him to say in the papers two days before an important game? The coach is on the brink, sacked on Saturday if we lose?
