But this is Pearson's
business. By his own admission he knows little about the game. A 'yes-man' is a liability as a coach in this situation as Pearson doesn't have the knowledge to call the right shots. And that would be a disastrous business decision.
Lang Park (I believe) suggests Pearson is a micromanager. Well, that's up to him if he wants to control the "business" side of the enterprise, but it would be a disaster if he exerted the same sort of influence over the playing and coaching decisions. He's no fool, so I'm sure he'd realise that.. um, wouldn't he....?
