I haven't seen anything from him to get excited about, but I do accept that even Peter Sterling or Andrew Johns in their pomp would look crap in that side!

First game back, ring rusty in a team low on confidence/short of ideas and a game plan not to do anything off the cuff, fear factor kicks in and you end up with exactly that. Not saying he's not at fault but there are reasons why.

His attacking kicks are the thing that has disappointed me, because however poor the team is that's one area where you can always be a threat. His kicking has been poor.
But the rest of the game can't be put on him at all. The best player in the world can't perform if his team mates have no idea what they should be doing.

Absolutely disgraceful performance. Terrible team selection and completely lacking any plan A. Why accommodate yeaman and shuffle the entire team around him? Please Radford GO!

Just got in. Firstly, any news on Bowden? Looked a nasty injury...
Second, big wraps to Mickey Paea again. Thought he was pretty good, will be interesting to watch again and see if he was just the best of a bad bunch.
Third, onwards to Salford. Those two points have gone. They've got a week to put it right and change whatever it was that isn't working because that was appauling from the off.

Radford basically said he thought Bowden's lay off would be a long one, but didn't really elaborate much on that.
As for the last part of your post. Salford have problems of their own with the men they have missing, so I wouldn't rule out a win. But we are just not going to see any improvement under the current setup. A win against Salford would just be backed up by a few more weeks of embarrassing beatings. We've been looking for signs of progress ever since Radford got the job, but we have just gone backwards at an alarming rate in the 18 months since Gentle left. There isn't a prayer of Radford being able to put it right.

Also, while sat in the east stand it was apparent that the team had given up early in the first half. A couple of them still have the enthusiasm to try things but we aren't a team with any belief.
Also, I could see Pearson from the seat I was in. He had his head in his hands and arms crossed all night. Hope he sees sense. I'd coach them better than Lee...in fact, my mum would!
well that was poor, dont know where to start, we seemed to lack aggression and desire, houghton thompson and paea and maybe watts did ok the rest where woeful, maybe shaul on second thoughts did ok, but why oh why do we include yeaman , he typifies everything bad about hull atm, am really fed up
once a black and white always a black and white COYH
