With Keighley as a town having such a high Asian population and being on the doorstep of the ground why not try tap into that market. Why not try a pre match kabaddi mini tournament every second home game. Some kind of deal could be struck with local groups etc. Give them some incentives and with a bit of luck could attract sponsorship to the club through Asian businesses etc. Restraunts in town advertising in the program ( discount voucher) and maybe advertising boards. What is there to lose the potential is massive.
It's all been suggested before. I seem to remember there being some sort of Asian "event" though I can't quite recall what it was.
I think the Asians look on RL with the same curiosity ( but lack of interest) as we have in khabadi.
I have only been wrong once and thats because I thought I was wrong but I was wrong I was right!
Petty authoritarians aren’t man enough to challenge the actions of a person face to face; instead they incite a forum of rumour, innuendo and half truths, and impose rude sanctions to discourage those who dare question fairness.
