I think both teams will be fairly pleased with the draw .

I'd be happy if it got pushed all the way back to the last week. Either we'd be really motivated to take the 2 points and make the 8, or we'd already be consigned to the League of Doom and we could put a skeleton team out.

Obviously I'd be even happier if we made the semis, rearranged the game in hand for the 8th of July and beat Wakie twice in one week but I'm trying to be realistic in my optimism.

Hmm. If we got them in the quarters we could play them 3 times in 8 days.

We've had some great victories over Cas in the Cup over years, especially in the Semi Finals.

Good chance to progress, can't complain about a home draw.

I think its as good as we could have hoped for and could have been a lot worse.

Cas are pretty inconsistent this season and it gives us a real chance of progressing.

The rest of the draw means that if we do go through at least 3 SL sides will have gone out.

If we go through we'll be in the last eight so at least four will have gone out.

Happy with that. Always great rivalry and banter with the Cas lads. Both our teams are underperforming for one reason or another.

Widnes took them apart this week and we owe them for the loss.

In the last couple of weeks he's stirred it up with pretty much all sporting stakeholders in the city, one way or another. An unreasonable pricing structure for an unscheduled game would hardly be against the grain.
