Tough game, both on a short turn around and they had a good win yesterday, tough to pick the team if all those players LR mentioned are back, win this and then we have Salford who are really struggling with injuries so we could be 5 unbeaten. Massive must win game IMo if we are to make the top 8.
I really think we need Sneyd back as our last players are really poor, but then what do you do with Rankin. Here would be my team if all those players are back:
Shaul Lineham Sa Talanoa Naughton Pryce Sneyd Paea Houghton Watts Mini Ellis Westerman

I would go with that too. Dissapointing for Rankin who I do really like and he is a real threat with his pace and eye for a try but he hasnt the all round game for the halves over the other two if fit. I know a few fancy him at centre but Sa is our best centre for me and Talanoa and Naughton do look to be potentially starting a decent patrneship although it should get a better test this week then a weakend Sts, Widnes and Sheffield. Fullback is his best position for mine but Shaul deserves his place on merit and it his place to lose at the moment.

Did Radford say Green was back aswell? If so I'd take him ahead of Bowden, but other than that I would go with something very similar.
I think I'd swap Houghton and Cunningham around too. A few weeks ago I would have said Rankin at full back, but whilst we do look slicker with Rankin there I think an individual effort from Shaul is our best hope of scoring right now.

i know I am open to ridicule here for saying this but I wonder if Rankin ever thought of having a bash at Hooking full time, something tells me he could be a cracking hooker... certainly not frightened of the rough stuff and his acting half moments have been swift and precise ... its a thought...just to keep him involved in the thick of it where he thrives and his speed from acting half could be awesome..

Ellis wont be back for this game Dave. Cant see Radford not playing Yeaman which is a shame because either Michaels or Naughton will drop out. Just wish we would persevere with Rankin at 9.Shauls try at Saints shows what pace can do from acting half.

Radford said he is n contention for this week, but maybe it will eb too early.
Agree with you about Yeaman, I think he will put him into the centre and drop Naughton, which will be really disapointting.
Not convinced and never have been about Rankin at hooker, it's Ok scooting now and again like Shaul did, but thats only a small part of playing hooker, not sure he is good enough in other areas to play there.
