Ha now that's rubbish. If you think a lot of what danny Houghton gets on here is 'measured' then we must both have trouble with distinguishing what's being said at times.
Go far enough back I've been critical of danny at times n I've always held back from getting carried away with him.
To be fair I'm judging a lot on what I've read on social media as well.
Although just a rumour some people were advocating selling Danny for Rob burrow. Burrow who isn't a starting hooker. Who misses a fair few games these days n who is much older. Outside of that rumour hooker is a hard position to buy in and danny really ain't that bad!

I like Danny but realistically he's not in the top half dozen 9's in the comp.
I doubt we'd need Burrow as an enticer if that sort of money was being realistically offered.

200k is no good if you can't bring better in. Unless something dramatic happens I can't see any real decent hookers available. & I certainly wouldn't want to spend loads on 1 as we've much more urgent areas to fill

I read just about everything that get posted on here. I don't recall anything OTT about any criticism of Houghton. But if you disagree feel free to quote some of them and we can discuss.

I don't give a toss what's posted on Social Media TBH. Anyone who takes that seriously needs a check-up from the neck up. But if you want to bring that into the discussion lease make it clear - people assume that you're referencing posts on this site unless clearly stated otherwise. And there have been no overly critical posts on here regarding Houghton.

Great player buts injury record is a concern and he's also more of a grafter than creative in my opinion and we have plenty of that style of player.
