I reckon Leeds might have bid, but we will reject it.
If he goes, people will realise how important he is and how much we will miss him, his isn't perfect, but a very good hooker.
Better chance of International honours at Leeds is a big reason apparently.

Everyone (except us with 3) loves two hookers, just in case one gets tired.

That iv'e no doubt about and more chance of wining something, if it is Houghton decision, then their is nothing we can di except hold out for a good fee (or player), although it would be nice if it happened at the end of the year so we had time to find a suitable replacement.
I still don't think he will leave, I have spoken to him and his family a few times over the years and I'd be very surprised if he it was his decision to leave Hull, guess we will have to see, if he plays on Sunday (As Leeds won't want him cup-tied) then I think we will have our answer.

I'm more worried about McShane coming in as a replacement.
The ideal scenario for me would be for us to sign a top hooker and have Houghton as an impact sub off the bench. I have been critical of Houghton but that doesn't mean I don't like/rate him, I just don't think he's the kind of player we want/need him to be.
If he leaves it could be good business provided we replace him with quality. But that's the problem. I have no faith in the club to sign the right player. Replacing him with McShane would be a disaster.
