There's a real dearth of good hookers around SL (I can imagine it'll be hard for us to get Lunt signed up on a permanent deal). Houghton's got some weaknesses in his game, but with somebody to spell him, and surrounded by quality he would look a different player imo, and I can imagine him being in demand, if he were available.

Really cant see it happening, one our most consistent and important players, in a position we pretty short on, a few years ago i would maybe have believed it, but not under Pearson.
I reckon Leeds might have bid, but we will reject it.
If he goes, people will realise how important he is and how much we will miss him, his isn't perfect, but a very good hooker.

Why? Is he gonna be back-up for Aiton at 200 grand? The Paul Aiton who was named First Utility player of the month for March and has been excellent for them thus far this season?
