Not sure their philosophy's match though, as Klopp has previously said it's not all about the money for him, and buying the best team.
Madrid rumours are surfacing as well, if Carlo doesn't win any trophies this year he will be out on his ear - but not sure there is the place for him either, given that he seems to want to be at a place for a long time and build/mould a team - neither of which he will get at City or Real if he doesn't win anything in his first 2 years there!
Jurgen Klopp has absolutely flopped this season, been a total disaster - He's basically been the German version of Roberto Martinez, in that he's turned a supposedly decent side in to a bottom half, mediocre team.
So with that in mind, Klopp should be hanging onto his job - Instead, he's happily quit his job and is now being lined up with a number of the European 'big-boys'.
Surely only in football could such under achievement be rewarded with a job promotion?
And so you aim towards the sky, And you'll rise high today, Fly away, Far away, Far from pain....
Don't see Klopp at either of City or Real to be honest. Think he's more suited to somewhere like Arsenal or Atletico where he'd have more time to build the team than buy it.

Significantly different to Martinez IMO, at least Klopp built that side in the first place, as well as winning leagues and a champions league before having his squad picked over by the rich boys. Martinez still has a lot to prove IMO.

I don't see Klopp at City because he plays the wrong game for what City want. City want to control the ball and entertain, not press and counter. The team is built around that. If Klopp was approached (I don't think he would be) then the squad would need an overhaul to play his game. Tbh I think we will stick with the Pel for another year before they have another plunge at trying to tempt Pep from his tour of the gloryhunting European big boy clubs.
