It may also depend where he sees his England future, where he will again compete with Hardaker and Chase for a fullback or standoff place.
He'd be a massive signing who'd out bums on seats and he is an XFactor player who does the unexpected...BUT i wouldn't want to sign him at the expense of sorting the other issues with the team, such as we need at least one if not 2 props if Paea goes.
I think it would not be good business to sign tomkins [even if we could] as he has stated he was homesick, whether its the other side of the world or the other side of the country he would still feel the same which would suggest he would return to wigan.
