Would be nice to get rid of wakefield from SL as it always feels a rip off paying to go there, and they lurch from one crisis to another. The begging bowl will be out again before the end of their season
As I stated last year on the VT the Wakefield area has one of the lowest average incomes in the North (Wakefield council stats), unless you're winning fans aren't willing to go watch a team that has being at the bottom end of things for a long time. Rugby is competing in the 21stC for so many other activities that don't leave you frustrated/angry/sad, the days of watching your team because not much else was available to do went 40 odd years ago. Can see them going the way of London in a few years time if something doesn't change.
