I have criticised Radford on here recently and I fully appreciate that one result doesn't change the tide of opinion, but it would be interesting to know from those there how we played?
I said before the game after seeing the teams that we should be ashamed if we don't win. Perhaps that's a bit strong, but in the circumstances it's certainly a game that we should have won. Saints had less rest and fielded a very inexperienced team, especially in the backs. That said you've still got to go and do the work and get it over the line, and it would appear that we performed a lot better.
I wouldn't call it a fluke, but whether we have turned a corner or not I have no idea. If we are celebrating our 5th win in a row against Salford in a months time then I'll be feeling a lot happier. For now, it's good to get a win, but I still need alot of convincing.
