I know they need to be positive on the official website, but whoever wrote that report is in cloud cuckoo land.

My favourite bits:

"Hull FC lose 6-20 in a disappointing derby affair with the loss of several key players, including captain Gareth Ellis and half back Marc Sneyd taking its toll." "Jamie Shaul returned to the Black and Whites line-up at full-back after three weeks out injured" anyone would think they want us to beleive we have injury problems

"Hull showed they were going into the game with a winning mentality in the early stages" yeah cos we just can't stop winning can we

"Five minutes before the end of the half a frantic burst of play with included fights, a chance at each end and a fantastic marauding run from Jamie Shaul only increased the intensity inside a packed KC Stadium." translates as: 'game got ugly and messy, which is right up our street so we looked semi-decent for 5mins'

"The Black and Whites came back after the interval with two good attacking sets" two good attacking sets, wow!

"The visitors added to their lead with Mantellato scoring a penalty but Lee Radford’s men showed no signs of giving up as they continued attacking in high spirits." if that's attacking with high spirits i'd hate to see us attack when we're feeling a bit down in the dumps!

"The second-half was a war attrition with Hull getting themselves into good positions but execution let them down in the key moments and the lack of half-back Marc Sneyd becoming evident." Sneyd may come good yet, but even Andrew Johns in his prime would have struggled to direct that rabble around the the park!

I think whoever wrote that must have been channelling Joseph Goebbels.

Someone forgot to proofread it too, but besides that it's a joke of a report. I think Goebbels would have dismissed it as too much.

Plus no sign of Radfords book of excuses in the match report. Here's hoping he has done one.
