Green (if he's not fit then Bowden) Feka Cunningham (if he's not fit then Howarth) Hadley
I have to agree with your team but as you say its guaranteed Radford will bring Yeaman back in despite the fact we need some real pace out wide and Talanoa would be a handful at centre. If it wasn't the Derby and Ellis was fit I would have dropped Westerman but think playing him for a while in the second row whilst Ellis is out may be better for the team to utilise his ball handling wider out. I hope Cunningham is fit because Howarth is a waste of a salary.

Every club does it but in relation to rib injuries, and I speak as an ex player at a much lower level, they are among the painful injuries around It was bad enough trying to get through every day normal duties never mind playing......tough feckers, these lot.

I've had a rib cartilage injury, did it playing golf a while back. Nothing you can do with them and to jab them up and play won't really have a detrimental effect on the injury. But as he has two now it must be about comfort generally for him as he must not be able to train with it, unless jabbed up of course.

I can say with definitive experience that there are few players that are not carrying an injury from the first three weeks of a season and there will be more than one player "jabbed up" in each team... as kids get fitter, faster and bigger such is that the injuries will pile up Then as the need to keep the wages on the pitch grows, then the jabs become more frequent I have never gone for all this "we have lots of cover in all areas" rubbish coaches spout, my experience is that the rest of a squad is there "just in case" but not as replacements IF the glory boy can be gotten onto the field ..thats jenga im afraid

On paper it isn't a bad lineup, but sadly they appear to spend all week practicing barging it up the middle and nothing else

Id play Tommo at interchange prop and have Abdul on the bench. Feka looked unfit last time out and is a liability in defence. Abdul also has a kicking game
