The timing is probably right given Radford will not be confident about getting a result in the derby on Thursday and defeat will in any case have seen him on his way.
Westerman,Pryce still playing with injuries and a new half back combo for Thursday playing against a confident fast HKR team I think he realises its better to throw in the towel now.
Whats changed from last season? Nothing
We were promised attractive attacking rugby by Adam Pearson but it was obvious last season Radford was taking the club backwards.
He may be good at paperwork and I believe he does work hard behind the scenes but if he cant see as the coach what most supporters clearly identify that our attack is so poor. If nothing changes and it hasn't then he obviously doesn't have the ability to be a coach.
I always said it was a big mistake to sack Peter Gentle but Radford will go down in history as the coach who took the club backwards at an alarming rate and binned a young up and coming young centre in Ben Crooks.
I still think Adam Pearson has the club at heart but what a great big hole you have dug for yourself Adam.

Does anybody serious expect Lee Radford to be the type of guy to walk away from anything?

Walked away from Hull when it suited him.

As much as I don't like him as a coach and want him removed that comment is unfair.
He was a young lad being offered a contract with the champions or did you expect him to stay at a poor club who's future was uncertain as a professional rugby player?

Lets hope anyone even thinking of taking Fc dont read these comments, the abuse IMO is out of order and shows how the "Faithful " can soon turn not just on Radford but players as well,if I was a player at Fc at the moment I would be thinking why bother because some of the flack is way off the mark.Yes we lost last night but many players put plenty of effort in ..to be abused and this is from so called Fans is a disgrace

Perhaps he is capable of the written word?

Maybe in view of his recent throat illness, Radford has actually "croaked" but someone misheard it as "walked"
