Last week Westerman slows down our attack & less play should go through him. This week he's being used wrong & more should go through him. I personally think he should be given a couple of weeks to get over his injuries & spelled more when we do play him.

I honestly don't think the squad is that bad. Packs going well. We're often posting better stats whilst in defeat. That's not the usual pattern of a rugby league game. As someone's said if we'd scored once more in 4 of our games we'd be 2nd. Our pace keeps getting mentioned. Last night was Rankin Lineham Michaels Logan Tala That's not that slow at all. Michaels is looking ok n Sa when fit is great. But Sa being fit is rare n michaels might not be an option if anything comes of the story about him. Centre a definate problem. Houghton has his limits but it's being massively overplayed by fans how bad he is imo. All our problems stem from the coach it seems. We're having a replica of last yr even though we've 2 halves in. Pryce has been top 3 every game for me n sneyd has been hit n miss. But in fairness to sneyd a big part of his game is off the cuff. That doesn't work without the deception of options dummy runners etc. If we sent the players out with no coach n told them to make it up as they go I'm sure they could rustle up some better attack. It's dire to watch. Sometimes boring teams can grind results and entertaining teams lose more than they should. We have neither which makes us the worst team to support

But we didn't, that's the point.
If Wakefield had won all their games they'd be top.

Totally missed the point. I'm not being as thick as to say if we won all our games we'll win the league. I'm saying we're close in spite of reversing usual trends. Eg having a good defence despite being in the bottom places. Eg pack making more metres on a regular basis. Our attack if improved by the smallest margin would see us climb quickly. Yet I don't think it would be hard for a good coach to get a very significant improvement.

I agree, super league has got more competitive but the overall standards have fallen in recent years. A couple of unexpected wins and a team is suddenly top4 contenders these days. A better coach could improve our attack, keep our decent defence and get us in the 8.

I think we've gone out to be as error free as possible hence we seem to be getting more ball than the opposition but doing little with it. Probably partly cause and effect

Which is a sound platform but you also need a couple of flare players to ignite play when close to the line.
