No I've just never heard of it, i tend to use only authorised sites like Ticketmaster for tickets.
Anyway I think the initiatives are commendable, and I have to say I don't see how any other Rovers fan can knock Hull, considering Rovers' crowds have dipped by 1500-2000 in just six years to be fair.

Groupon don't sell anything as such. They "sell" special offers on behalf of businesses and take a 50% cut I believe. In this instance if it's £5 for a kids ticket Groupon will keep £2.50 and pay £2.50 to Hull FC. You are buying a coupon which I assume you would then take to the KC ticket office and swap it for a ticket. You should check it out, there's often some good stuff on there.

Anyway, back on topic...

Highest ticket sales since 2007 according to the club:

And some say all I post is doom and gloom about crowds

Sounds like it will be massive attendance with 14K+ tickets sold. Add on around 7000 season pass holders and it's looking like it will be close to full.

I think passholders will be included in the figure, hope I'm wrong.

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?

It does sound too good to be true.

that figure will include the passholders. we'll be looking at around 16k for the match, the slower the sales the more the spin

The referee's indecision is final
