It was just a bad day for people to come, move on to the next game. My advice to the club is stop moaning about it on social media and go out and get peoples attention. Vickers thinks 7 wins out of the last 9 will bring the crowds in... Is he daft. The club should do offers like they did begging of last season where you could get 3 tickets for £50. They have two weeks to widnes game now and they should advertise the game around salford, go around schools put it on radio etc..
Vickers and MK need to be careful not to slip into the same mindset as the previous owner.
'We've done this, loads will come...Why isn't anyone coming?'
There's always more that could be done, and resting on laurels is a recipe for disaster.

In fairness to all concerned (past & present) I honestly believe that Salford is a much harder sell than other smaller towns in Superleague with far fewer recreational choices. I can recall the club employing the guy from Warrington who had a huge impact on helping them grow their attendances. What did he achieve at Salford? I think he gave up after 6 months and admitted defeat.
First accept sadness. Realise that without losing 70% of the time, winning wouldn't be such a relief.

Agreed.
The Leeds match is the day Man U v Man C is screened. 4pm ko (I think)
We MUST change the time of our game to have a chance of filling the Stadium up.
If the derby starts at 4pm why not start the Leeds game @ 1pm or even 1.30pm?
Sorry to admit I was one of those who went to OT but would have normally been there yesterday . Its a tough one, but I agree that every effort should be made to make sure the two fixtures clash the least amount of times possible. I spoke to a few mates who made the same choice and it got me thinking what the figure must be - I think an extra 1-2k stayed away? Surly with only 4 united home games left, we should start to see an increase.
