The Council have left themselves wide open here and seem to not have a leg to stand on, it was a massive oversight on their part when the lease was drawn up and agreed. I think the very least they can do is put the public in the picture, the full picture because there's many people who simply don't understand how something like this can be allowed to happen.
A spokesman for Hull City Council said: “The council has not yet been consulted upon any proposal, however it is requesting a meeting of the community use rights liaison committee with the Stadium Management Committee to consider how the SMC intends to meet its commitment to regular and individual users of the sports hall within the community use rights obligations that fall upon the company.”

Since the Council seem to of lost all control of the stadium complex . Time to see what was conditions SportEngland where promised before putting there 50% in to the complex . If you all remember was them who stopped it been a 30,000 seater stadium in first place.

Our good Dr's made it on the front page of the Sunday Times today! He's been plotting with Tony Blair to weaken the unions influence on Labour. Pledging to donate up to a million quid to plug any loss in Union funding that results.
He really does think he runs the world doesn't he?! Does he ever give being a self-interested, meddling booty a rest for one day!?
I think we should all be very worried now ..............
Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth. Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself.;

Ah - schmoozing with the Labour party to curry favour - he's tried that one before iirc, inviting Miliband to watch a City match back in August. That one backfired as Miliband was slated for pulling a sickie and then appearing at the match, so he scurried back to Westminster with little said.
But if Allam offers serious donations it would be reasonable to expect a reciprocal favour. Allam is not left wing - he's as conservative and self-serving as they come - so what's in it for him? One thing's for certain - he's not doing it because he wants to rule the world - merely the city of Hull and the obstreperous and obstinate minions who form it's citizenship.
So is it for pressure from Labour's central office on our ever-so-unobliging local council, perhaps?
