At the moment I'd settle for a coach that could keep us out of the bottom 4.
As for player recruitment - having a good coach makes it easier to attract better players. Not easy - just easier.
If you honestly believe that no other coach would get better results from this squad than Radford then fair enough, but I'm not sure how you've arrived at that opinion. One listen to his after-match interview tonight demonstrates how fully clueless he is.
Hold on to me baby, his bony hands will do you no harm It said in the cards, we lost our souls to the Nameless One

If changing the coach won't make much difference, and changing the players clearly isn't making much difference, what options are left? Concede defeat and chuck it in, or accept being rubbish and try not to be bothered by it?

Maybe that's where the Port and lemon comes in - helps dull the pain!

it's a way of saying FU, we don't even need to score tries now, we're in control here & you're done for the night. What little fight a team has something like that can have an impact to the opposition on the receiving end. it's the final insult/slap in the face tbh.

They manage their youngsters plenty fine it at Leeds, Saints, Wigan etc. You just can't bring yourself to admit that Radford is a failure and isn't up to the job..why is that?
Nonsense - as I've said countless times Radford can leave today for all I care. What part of that sentence is proving difficult for you to comprehend ?
What I will do is give credit where it's due and criticise where necessary. You only do the latter - why is that ? Where was your praise of Radford after the Hudds and Wire performances ? Or is it only shambolic performances like the 40 mins last night that can be attributed to the coaching ? As for the youngsters thing we're miles behind in player development and talent. Despite some serious investment I'm yet to be convinced that we're getting any better at it.
Radford's biggest mistake this season so far is his squad strength at prop forward. It seems clear that Ellis will have to move inside and Thompson play in his place in the left second row. It's a shame we couldn't get Taylor for this season when we tried to because Green and Bowden are not taking their opportunities and when injuries hit we've nothing left as last night's bench clearly illustrated.
