But Thomson has started the season great. I can't think of many players that can play back row, prop and centre aswell as he does.
Radford looking for a poor game from Yeaman so he can include Michaels at centre. Problem is Sa has a shoulder injury so once again cant string two or three matches together without injury so I guess it will be Yeaman and Michaels at centre for Leeds. If Shaul is fit we have to find a place for Rankin. The team is desperate for some pace.

i look forward to your evidence to support your initial statement then rather than cheap heresay. somehow i don't think we'll be seeing it

Love to know the stats of how many games we have won after a break, I'm sure we always get beat, it's like the players switch off with the free time and can't get in the right frame of mind for the game.

But if you read their tweets, they're dying to get back on the field and can't wait to get stuck in.

Just seen the trys, some really poor defence trys especially out wide on Chase. A bit disappointed with a couple of Rankins one on one attempts, could have maybe done better for three of their try's.

IMO opinion we have a really strong squad, leeds obviously will be a really tricky opponent, however there should be no excuses for not getting into the top 8. Unfortunately missed the game on saturday, glad to hear Rankin had a good game...i'd love to see Michaels, Rankin and Shaul play together..would be great if they could all fit into the 13 man squad, if it was up to me i'd like Yeaman to miss out...like i said didn't see how he did on Saturday but his ball supply is really frustrating in terms of putting in his winger to score

i could not bring myself to watch the 'highlights', but I watched these attempted Rankin tackles live from the corner of the West Stand and they all looked pretty half hearted and feeble. Given the level of strapping on his shoulder, which was then re-applied at the beginning of the 2nd half during the injury stoppage; i assume he was carrying a knock which he didnt want to aggrevate by tackling.
If injured, strange to play him in a role which was very likely to call upon the need to tackle one on one.

It's on the Hull FC Live highlights. The camera angle is not good, so the actual grounding is not seen, but there is nothing to suggest it wasn't a try.
That's the problem with armchair viewing, it's not much better than RH if you're interested in getting a full view of the game.
Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?
