Having been a critic of FC's ticket pricing policy for the North Stand in the past, I think it only fair & balanced to pass comment on this season's derby prices. Lets hope the policy is rewarded with a return to near sell out crowds.

So I understand, we have set one up with Widnes as well (£15 for away fans).

Seems fair enough, you charge us £20 and you can go in the South Stand for the same price, everyone's a winner!

Will be going to Hull on Thursday and have bought 3 pre booked tickets, 2 adults at £20 and an O.A.P for £17. I think the adults are good value at 20 sovs, but it would be better for the oldies if they could get more than £3 off the full price. Not much incentive for an old kid of 80 to go trekking across to Hull on a cold Thursday night when he can sit over a couple of pints in his local club for less than a fiver without freezing his bollards off. It seems as money becomes ever more a priority, the clubs seem to offer decent discounts to kids who buy a shirt, some sweets and a programme, while the older folk who may have kept the clubs going through the tough times often get overlooked.

Why should pensioners get more than £3 off?

I think that is what I just said, it is good value for me. I just think ALL clubs should give pensioners a bigger discount.

Pensioners used to pay about half of the full admission price, nowadays they get in this case, 15% off. I just think the prices for pensioners have increased disproportionately over the last few years.

Are you a bit daft, I've already said it's good value for me. Do you want me to spell it out for you again.
