Anybody who thought Salford were going to roll over last night needs a slap, worst result for us was saints hammering them. Chase was chase absolute unplayable, next week he could be pants. Salford still had a very strong team out last night and deserved the win. My only gripe last night was them two team warnings from Roby who clearly bottled a second yellow

Salford deserved the win, but it's 100% at attitude problem with us. Right from the start we didn't tackle or run like we meant it, it was like we were playing a training game. Once we went 10 down we started to play, but the damage was done. The wind was clearly a big factor and being in front at half time was important. We actually did really well to get ourselves in front but then seemed to switch off again.

You will see a different team next week. I actually think we will beat Leeds next week, but until we can start turning up with the right mindset week in week out we will never amount to more than a lower mid table team.

Fwiw the majority of your fans were expecting a top 6 finish according to an earlier thread on your board, however miracles or not you should have beaten a team short of 5 of their stellar signings for this season, if you accept that their defeat to Saints was the worst that could have happened then surely your coach should have addressed this along with a plan to nullify Chase, 2 other teams have already.

I'm sorry but it sounds a bit desperate when you are relying on the ref to give you a leg up by giving a yellow for a team warning, by definition a team warning means they have been penalised numerous times, surely that in itself means you should have taken advantage of this, and if not you should look at your players' and coaching staff as to why not.
