Just got in from work but knew this would happen. Bench was far far to light - Greens turd and why isnt Feka getting a game?

Now after this preformance im left with a choice (and its a choice lots will be making) - do i spend £100+ taking the wife and kids (aged 6+8) to the Leeds game which will most likely end in an admirable defeat but will mean my kids being knackered for school in morning and me £100 lighter or do i stay at home and watch in on Sky and get the kids to bed at a reasonable hour?

We were unlucky in that Chase was on fire and next week he'll probably be cack again.

I think Feka should replace Green or Bowden and Michaels should be in for Yeaman.

I think you've summed up Salfords season in a nut shell there, it could all depend on which Rangi Chase turns up on the day.

I would've got rid of Yeaman and kept Arundal and Ben Crooks.

Just seen the try that chase set up with his great passes and there was still an opportunity to tackle Chase before he got the ball away. So all this unstoppable stuff I have read on twitter is rubbish. Again we sat off Chase and let him play, we should have hammered him from the off.

Mrs B, Team warnings expire if the team put on a warning don't offend for a period. The period being at the discretion of the referee. The first warning was totally justified as Salford were habitually offending to slow the game down. After that there were no offences from Salford for about 10 minutes. Thus the first warning had expired and back to normality (If you can have that with Roby!).
I questioned the second team warning as Salford had only give one penalty away and got a team warning. I didn't think at the time the second warning was justified.
I think Mr Radford should question the number of penalties Hull were given as opposed to Salford. I think he'll find that the Hull team weren't short changed by Roby at all/
FWIW I thought Roby's performance last night was one of the worst I've seen in 40+ years of watching.

Never knew that, sounds a load of old RFL cobblers to me.

Roby didn't have that much impact on the game other than the laying on IMO. You deserved the win totally, more so with the number of absentees you had. :thumb:

Are you having a laugh? Roby put your team on a warning on the last play in the first half! Why bother then? He bottled it in the second. The first offence shouldve been a straight yellow for a professional foul, we had numbers out wide and Salford players knew it

Sadly I think the way Hull play allows Rangi chase to build his confidence... he wasn't so apparent in the first 20 - when it was (rather oddly) the Tommy Lee show... but as the game went on Rangi was allowed to do his stuff , grew more confident and then comes up with magic like this .... *sigh* .. will we ever learn?

Every time we play against them it's like we've paid purely to watch him skip across the line. Maybe he'd rolled in dog poo before the game so we didn't want to touch him.

In the cold light of day I think last night's game was a missed opportunity for us. A win would have given us a real boost and although Salford were never going to play as badly as they did in their previous games and Chase was at his unpredictable best the sad reality is that due to complacency or some other reason we badly under-performed. In football parlance we missed an open goal. We now have a very short turnaround for the Leeds game and come Friday morning we could find ourselves on 2 points out of 8, which is probably where must people would have expected us to be before the Giants game.
