Glad it's over with and hopefully that's it for expensive payoffs. That said Shannon was never a bad player, just not someone we particularly needed at allegedly high wages when other positions of the team needed investment.

Whatever the rights and wrongs of a case, it usually makes economic and commercial sense to settle it rather than go to trial.

Sure Shannon will have received a pay out, but I would be surprised if it was anywhere near as much as he was claiming.

I dont, I see shaul as a long term fullback, weras McDonnell was a mercenary, and an expensive one at that, id take shaul without a doubt, younger, fitter, cheaper and more potential IMO

I can't take this post seriously at all. Shaul is a much better choice than McDonnell and he offers a lot more than McDonnell ever did.

Mcdonnell was a good player. Had a good yr but we've pretty much got shaul rankin n naughton for not much more than he was on. We're much better off now
